Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant, to work within a Primary School in the S35 area of Sheffield. The position is to start in March 2024.The successful candidate will be working in EYFS and would be required to provide 1:1 and small grouped Phonics booster session for EYFS and KS1 pupils. This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour.Responsibilities will include: Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children across the curriculumEngaging, motivating and encouraging learnersSupporting children’s social and emotional developmentAssisting the Class Teacher in managing behaviourEffectively feeding backRecord keeping and administrative tasks, such a preparing resourcesCreating classroom displaysAttending meetings and contributing to the extra-curricular opportunities provided by the school Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or aboveChild workforce DBS on update service or willing to apply for a new DBSRecent, successful teaching assistant experiencePro-active, hardworking and committed to making a positive impact All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
