Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Headley have vacancies available with a manufacturer of complex and involved engineering equipment who have openings available for graduate project engineers. As a recent mechanical engineering graduate, you’ll get exposure to real word engineering taking on a responsible role from day one. The company have a proven graduate development programme where you’ll develop within the role as your mechanical engineering skills grow. The role combines office working, with significant opportunity to work at customer sites with factories based all around the world. Along with a competitive basic, this role offers significant earning potential via working away allowances Main duties to include: Work with colleagues in Sales, Design, Manufacturing to help ensure products / machinery manufactured to client specifications. Use of autocad package for any design modifications, layout drawings etc. Attendance at customer site, on a global basis at commissioning stage of the project Acting as representative on site during installation process Report writing, related document control Ongoing communication with site and manufacturing teams About you: Good academic record including a degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering Some experience in using CAD software Well organised, efficient and ambitious Able to demonstrate desire to pursue career in engineering Live within commutable distance to Halifax Willing and able to work away from home, internationally as required Passport and driving licence required Excellent opportunity to kick start your career in the engineering sector
