Finance Business Partner

Permanent – Full Time (37 hours per week) Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is an ambitious, dynamic housing association with strong community roots. We are focused on building homes and communities where people can thrive and delivering valued services to our customers. We’re now seeking a Finance Business Partner – someone to take responsibility for monitoring, forecasting, and reporting on financial performance. As Finance Business Partner, you’ll ensure accounting records, budgetary control systems and all financial matters are compliant and dealt with in an effective and secure manner. You’ll ensure monthly management accounts, including supporting narrative, are accurate and on time, and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI information including fixed asset register, monthly reports and dashboards are produced as required. You’ll work closely with budget holders to ensure budgets are prepared accurately, on time and align with business ambitions, and ensure the Group’s final accounts are produced, with effective team and individual contribution. We’d like you to… Be a professionally qualified Accountant, or part qualified and actively studying. Have proven experience of delivering management accounts. Have experience of supervising a finance team, in a housing or similar professional environment. Have excellent communication and performance management skills. Have experience of successfully managing complex projects, working within tight deadlines and budget, whilst promoting stakeholder involvement at all levels.
